this is supposed to be fun

I dont understand it, I cant use visual studio in linux bc of stupid windows dependencies.
visual studio code is frankly just ass for c++ development.
and I am currently using clion but on a the free trail.
kdevelop is just bad imo.
qtcreator is worse.
so is codelite…
why, you'd think for a very popular language it would have way more support on linux.
am I crazy? at this point, when the trail runs out I'd have to use visual studio code. so I guess I better make the most of it.
I think I might plan on just ditching ides all together and understand how the underlying process works.
I do understand some memory management concepts now, but I didnt apply any of them yet ofc.
maybe I should make my own ide after working closer with c++, its genuinly a really fun language to play around in.
and honestly I really like linux not gonna lie.
thank you for reading.
